Hi! Very cool that you found my website.
I'm a husband, father, musician, engineer, and technical leader. I've worked in software for over a decade so far and have had fun learning many different domains.
These days I live in Copenhagen with my family, and have taken some time off to be with my son and work on a passion project to try to make recipe management and cooking easier for everyone.
I started my career after being lucky enough to study Computer Science and Psychology under a full scholarship at Hendrix College with some great professors (shoutout to Gabriel J. Ferrer).
After this my career took me to a variety of places, first in the US at Acxiom, then to the Middle East at the Bahá’í World Centre, and most recently in Germany at Heidelberg Materials.
I would describe myself as an expert generalist and have worked the full stack, from ERP systems to Desktop, Web, and Mobile applications, to systems architecture and domain design, to UX design. I have many hats and just dive into whatever is necessary or interesting.
Although I love engineering, I have increasingly moved into leadership roles and have really learned to lead cross-functional, international, and hybrid/remote teams. I strongly ascribe to Servant Leadership.
